RSS feed registration
What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a format designed for sharing news information. Nelnet's RSS feeds deliver fresh news directly to you at the very moment that it becomes available. When you include Nelnet's feeds in your RSS reader, you won't need to repeatedly check our site for updates - the news will come to you.
How do I use RSS?
To make use of RSS, you'll need an RSS reader. An RSS reader can be a stand-alone application, or an available feature in a program you already use, such as Microsoft Outlook, Firefox, or Safari RSS. In addition, some online resources, such as Yahoo or Bloglines, allow you to customize Web pages by adding RSS feeds. If you use any of these resources, review their help documentation to learn more. Your favorite search engine also can direct you to several stand-alone RSS readers that are available free of charge, such as RSS bandit, RSS Reader, or RSS Feedreader.
To access RSS news feeds, you must provide some additional information. Providing this information also will allow you to:
- View Web casts
- Maintain a shareholder briefcase
- Submit requests for printed material
